Join us for the final event of this program where we will present the paper on the topic of becoming a successful top marketer in the boardroom. This year, CMOtalk and Egon Zehnder have collaborated to develop a program for the top CMOs in the Netherlands. The goal is to enhance their understanding of diverse leadership roles and increase their value in executive and board positions.
We are conducting an inventory of the leading marketing function, aiming to capture the full scope of the CMO role. Following the CFO structure, we have identified six core tasks with underlying depth. This working model is an initial draft and welcomes input from CMOs.

Earlier, in working sessions, we delved deeper into the topics related to the CMO who qualifies for a boardroom position. We “borrowed” the example of CFOs, who have undergone a major transformation in the past decade. Their job description has not only expanded, but their leadership typology has also completely changed. Based on our sessions, we have created a similar model for the CMO.
